A focusing question:
"The hours fly by, the days fly by, and then we wonder where the years have gone ." You've heard it said and perhaps you have thought it yourself.
But what if we made it a practice to pause and slow down in the middle of the day. Stopping to reset our spiritual clock in the middle of the day can make us more aware of how God is with us at different times of our day.
Before you dive into lunch in the midst of your day, sit quietly for a minute or two. Close your eyes and breathe deeply 3-4 times.
Reflect on the gift of the break that you are about to enjoy.
As you breathe in, on each breath
Sit in gratitude for a moment.
Now, commit the rest of your day to God and Divine goodness.
Peace, Rev. Gail
